How to Update Your PilotAware Wi-Fi Name and Password

Power Up Rosetta:

  • Turn on your Rosetta device and wait for the Wi-Fi network to appear.

Connect to PilotAware Wi-Fi:

  • On your tablet or phone, connect to the PilotAware Wi-Fi network.

Open the Web Interface:

  • Open your browser and serch for 192.168.1.1
  • This will open up the PilotAware Web interface (Usually a compass rose)
  • If it brings up a google search, make sure your device is connected to PilotAware, and that you're searching using the standard URL bar.

Go to the Network Page:

  • In the web interface, go to the "Network" page.

Change Wi-Fi Name and Password:

  • Update the SSID (Wi-Fi name) to something more recognisable.
  • Change the password to secure the Wi-Fi link.
  • Ensure you keep a record of the new login details.

Apply Changes:

  • Click "Save". This action will cause the Rosetta to restart. Your device will lose it's connection to PilotAware during this time.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

  • After the restart, go back to the Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device.
  • Connect to the newly changed SSID and enter the new password to join.
