Power on the PilotAware, and navigate to the Wi-Fi page on a mobile device. 30 seconds after power is applied to PilotAware, it will emit a WiFi signal. Using a mobile device, connect to PilotAware’s WiFi.
As default, the device connection setting on the PilotAware 'Configuration' page is set to 'All'. For Rosetta to interface with GARMIN Pilot, either 'All' or GDL90' needs to be selected. Make sure this setting is saved.
GARMIN Pilot, should automatically detect the PilotAware, and begin to process traffic data through the App.
By clicking 'More' > 'Devices', this will should you that the GPS used is GDL90.
Going back to the 'Map', local traffic should now appear overlayed on the map.
If traffic is not displayed, yet Traffic is being detected by PilotAware, open the 'Layers' menu > 'Overlays' and enable 'Traffic'
To reach the Traffic scope, click 'More', and select 'Traffic'.
As with all Apps running on Apple devices, you need to enable 'Local Network' Connectivity for all the apps interfacing with PilotAware. Failure to do this will prevent the Apps being able to read PilotAware data.
