Establishing the GPS

PilotAware Rosetta uses an internal GPS antenna to identify its location. Like all GPS devices, it requires time during the first boot up for the GPS module to collect the satellite data (Ephemeris data).

This task should be performed outside, skylights, rooftop windows, and conservatories use glass that blocks out UV radiation and consequently, satellite GPS transmissions.

Row 11 on the PilotAware Home Page, identify the quantity of satellites in use.  In this case it's 6.
